As the year ends, and winter break is upon us, it can be a great time to get some reading in. I have almost accomplished my goal of reading 100 books this year. With
that in mind, I would like to recommend three different books from three different genres, a little something for everyone.
One of my favorite romance books I have read this year is "Say You'll Remember Me", By, Abby Jimenez. This book will forever live rent free in my head. Abby has a way of drawing you in quickly and making your laugh out loud while reading. My husband has actually questioned me "Are you laughing that hard at a book?", yes sir, I am. She makes you fall in love with characters as if you know them in real life.
This story in particular has Samantha, the FMC, struggle with having to move her whole life to take care of her sick mother. But just before she moves, she meets a guy that has changed her whole thought process on dating. But its too late. She has to leave. Xavier is the closest thing to a real life prince charming.
Xavier also experiences a connection with Samantha that stops him from being able to focus in his veterinarian position. Will they make it work? You will only know if you read this one and then let us know what you think!

If you are into thriller books, I have read so many great ones, you can find them all on my Goodreads. If I had to pick just one to recommend, I am going to pick one that is less talked about. I feel like so often we see the same books being talked about which is good, but there are so many books that need more hype. That is why I am
recommending "The Business Trip" By Jessie Garcia. I read this book back in February and gave it a five stars. Here I am still thinking about how good it was. I love a book with a good twist and this book has it. I also had never heard of this author before this book. It can be hard to stray from authors we know but that is why I need to share this with you. This book should be talked about more in the thriller book rec world.
This book follows Stephanie and Jasmine. They have nothing in common and don't even know each other. But soon there lives will intertwine and in a way you won't see coming. Stephanie is a business woman and Jasmine is fleeing an abusive relationship. Each woman has her own struggles. How they overcome them will be a rollercoaster ride of reading for you. Enjoy!

I am someone who loves to read about personal growth and biographies about people who share their stories and what they went through. While this next recommendation is fiction, I feel like it was one of the most impactful reads for me. I was recommend this book by my auntie Linda, otherwise I never would have read it. That would have been a loss. Whether you are a mother or have a mother, this book will give you a new or
different perspective on motherhood. As a mother, we have so much pressure on us and we also tend to hide so much of what we are going through. This book allows you to think about this concept in a good way. It is called "Truths I Never Told You" By: Kelly Rimmer.
This book had me crying more than I thought. It gives you a perspective from those who also do not wish to be a mother. Society can place so much pressure on women to have babies and I know that is not the path every woman wants. It is important that this message is shared and understood. We don't live in a world where a woman's only path is motherhood. That should be praised as well!
